The world wide web has abundace of secret gold, aka age old brilliant recipes, that needs to be in front of everyone, hidden in social media coves accesible to only the savvy user who is willing to spends hours to find these recipes. So we set out to curate only the best recipes from FUSION FOODS to SKIN SCARE that incorporate everyday herbs and spices to create something beautiful and have every one enjoy it. All recipes are by the community that have authenticated user feedback and unbiased opinions, across different mediums and its for the community to DIY and enjoy.
We saw a need as all of us would spend so much time figuring out what to cook rather than actually cooking, weather its of dinner or for that amazing bbq to host people. Our most important criteria to curate these receipes is that it has to be loved by the community. We also eat food but tend to be a pickier bunch when it comes to eating, we will try and futher curate these recipes with our tastebuds as well.

Anyway. I talk a lot about macros here, but we need to give some love to the micronutrients, too. “Micros” refer to vitamins and minerals, so here is a list a little cheat sheet to help you make sense of the vitamins out there.
I’ll be honest with ya, I’ve never known much about vitamins. The extent of my knowledge was always that Vitamin C helps us not be sick (and made us all cry with Graduation), Vitamin D comes from the sun, and B vitamins give us energy.
I’ve taken a multivitamin for pretty much my entire life. It wasn’t until more recently in my life that I realized it’s unnecessary. A multivitamin is a supplement, and if you eat a well-balanced diet, you’re likely getting plenty of vitamins in.
Of course, if your diet is doo-doo, then multivitamins can be a helpful addition. Like any supplement, you shouldn’t rely on it as your main source. It’s very similar to a greens supplement- if all you eat is protein bars all day, it might be helpful. But, try eating real food.
Vitamins can be broken up into 2 categories: fat soluble and water soluble. The fat soluble vitamins are A, D, E, & K, and they are found in mostly fatty foods (with exceptions of course). The water soluble vitamins are vitamin C and all of the B vitamins, and you’ll mostly find those in fruits & veggies, dairy and grains (again, with exceptions). What’s the difference in these types of vitamins? Essentially, water soluble vitamins pass through your body, where fat soluble vitamins are stored for longer term use.
One common misconception is that since B vitamins help convert food into energy, that they burn calories. While B vitamins do provide some energy (they’re staples in lots of energy drinks) they do not provide CALORIC energy. Chugging the energy drinks isn’t the key to fat loss- I’m sorry.

Stick w me on this long winded post. There’s a point, but it starts w a story.👇
In 2013, this woman came to see me. My office was in my house. She called me in desperation. She had gone to the walk in clinic up the street, twice, and wasn’t given the care she needed.
She had a terrible infection in her armpit, lots of pain w restricted movement. When I looked at the site, it was red, warm, the infection was spreading. I sent her to the ER.
The MD didn’t look at the wound. He gave her a prescription and off she went.
She called me the next day to thank me. Told me how compassionate I was.
It didn’t take much; eye contact, passing a tissue for tears, acknowledge the pain. I treated her w kindness. All things the MD was very capable of.
The next day I went to visit that MD. There was a clear bias the MD had about this patient. He said she likely followed my suggestions as I was a woman.🙄 I told him he should work a little harder on his bedside manners.
The point of my story is this…..
✨I chose #naturopathicmedicine to support all people.
✨The first rule of medicine is this:
“First, Do no Harm”.
✨When we select who gets treatment based on a “status”, “policy” or “pass”, we are not practicing medicine. It’s simply not #healthcare.
✨I know things are super intense right now, lots of feelings + beliefs.
And so, I’m coming full circle to say, my door is always open. You will never be turned away. x
